Dmitri Yerofeyevich Osten-Sacken ((ロシア語:Дми́трий Ерофе́евич О́стен-Са́кен)) (24 April 1789 — 4 March 1881) was a Russian general of Baltic German/Russian descent, member of the State Council, commander in charge of military settlements in the South of Russia during the Crimean War.
He participated in Napoleonic wars, Russo-Persian War (1826–28), Russo-Turkish War (1828–29), suppression of the November Uprising in Poland, Russian conquest of Caucasus, and the Crimean War, overall 15 campaigns and over 90 battles and skirmishes. Serving over 50 years in various ranks of General, he was recipient of many military awards.
